Russ’ Bucket List

Below is a list, in no particular order, of cool places that I would love to visit someday.  This is an ever-expanding, constantly changing list of destinations, so in a year this may be radically different.  But here is what I have for the moment:
1. Watch the Dream Mile at the Bislett Games track meet in Oslo, Norway
2. Tour the ancient ruins in Athens
3. Visit Lourdes, France
4. Explore Barcelona
5. Take an icebreaker to the bottom of the world and see the only continent I have not been to: Antarctica
6. Tour Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada



7. Experience Goa, India
8. Soak in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland

11. Climb to base camp on Everest
12. Kayak along the coast of Vancouver Island
13. Attend Mass at Saint Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican
14. Drive the Pacific coast of Mexico
15. See the Great Wall of China
16. Enjoy the beaches of Vietnam
17. Walk around Riga, Latvia
18. Stroll through the vibrant streets of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
19. Go for a run on a black sand beach in Tahiti
20. Check out the really cool architecture in Moscow’s red square
21. Run through the Brandenburg Gates to finish the Berlin Marathon
22. Helsinki, Finland (In “Night on Earth” film maker Jim Jarmusch captures a sad yet beautiful charm unique to Helsinki)
23. See Budapest, Hungry from the Danube River
24. Hike the highlands of Scotland
25. Make friends with lemurs in Madagascar
26. Check out the mysterious island of Corsica (after reading the Corsican Brothers as a kid, I’ve always wanted to visit)
27. See the Northern Lights (which Jen stole from my list)
