This is kind of depressing since almost every one of these ‘disappearing’ places is on my bucket list or has been a personal travel highlight. Now I know how to prioritize my bucket list. It’s pretty hard to believe that the Taj Mahal could be closed to tourists in the next five years, but the marble building is being damaged by pollution and will most likely continue to yellow over time.
